Abstract

The search on PubMed and Google regarding "urticaria and hemangioma" has not revealed any case similar to ours. The appearance of dermatitis, as atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis and psoriasis, especially on salmon patches, but also on infantile hemangioma (1, 2) is well documented. Sometimes the diagnosis is simple because the dermatitis is also present in other sites and there is a history of a previous vascular disorder. It is more difficult when the dermatitis is present only on the vascular lesion and this was not noticed before, maybe because hidden by the hair. The factor favoring the localization of dermatitis on the vascular lesion is however vasodilation. It is likely that in our case vasodilation in the residuals of hemangioma has been a localization factor for urticaria-angioedema.
