Abstract

Buscke Ollendorff syndrome is an association of connective tissue nevi and osteopoikilosis, that usually appears in the first decades of life.
We report two patients, mother and son with connective tissue nevi of collagen type. One of them, namely the mother, had also oval densities at the radiologic examination of the carpal, shoulder and pelvic bones.
The importance of a suitable differential diagnosis is emphasized in order to avoid dangerous and unnecessary treatments.
