Abstract

An 8-month-old boy visited our clinic with a brownish plaque on his thigh. During the skin biopsy, generalized erythema after accidental rubbing of the lesion was observed. The skin biopsy confirmed the clinical suspicion of mastocytoma. The infant was treated with a H1-antihistamine for symptom control and a topical hydrocolloid patch was applied to prevent irritation-induced flushing.
